Stationers' Hall is a unique venue that provides a blend of history,tradition and gracious hospitality in the City of London. Ideally located close to St. Paul's, Stationers' Hall offers an exclusive range of charming,historic reception rooms of individual character.

The Livery Hall is the largest of the function rooms. Gleaming oak flooring and carved oak panelling originating from the 1600s together with huge stained glass windows give this room an impressive ambience. A light and airy room ideal for larger day and evening events. The huge stained glass windows, backlit for evening events, depict William Shakespeare, William Caxton, St Cecelia, William Tynedale & Archbishop Cranmer.

For Weddings

Weddings at Stationers' Hall

Stationers Hall can accomodate:

80-120 guests for a wedding ceremony in our beautiful Court room, overlooking the Garden

130-200 guests for a wedding ceremony in our Hall with its Minstrels Gallery

80-200 for a wedding breakfast in the Hall with dancing in the Stock room

400 can be accommodated for a standing reception or party

 

The recently redeveloped Garden is a private and secluded space which all clients may make use of when hiring the hall. Alternatively if the weather is inclement then additional space inside is always available. The Garden is dominated by an enormous plane tree which marks the spot where it is alleged heretical books, condemned by the ecclesiastical authorities, were burnt in Tudor times. The Garden Connected by a wrought iron staircase to the Court room but with easy access to the Hall and Stock room, the Garden isavailable for barbeques, receptions, cocktail parties and photography at all times.
