Tucked away on Church Street, one could be forgiven for overlooking the entrance to the historic grade two listed building that is Cutlers’ Hall, yet it is one of Sheffield’s most important buildings. 

Cutlers Hall is the headquarters of The Company of Cutlers’ in Hallamshire and is the only Livery Hall outside of London with Freemen who are directors of companies within Hallamshire making cutlery, edge tools or steel with a cutting edge.

Today Cutlers Hall is used for all styles of events from conferences and AGM’s to gala dinners and awards ceremonies, as well as traditional Livery events to ensure that traditions continue.

The Cutlers’ Hall provides venue space that is both flexible in size and style.

From a large AGM for 500 in the Main Hall and a cabaret for 250 delegates in the Hadfield Hal,  through to the Drawing Room for 46 to the classroom in the Hallamshire Suite for 30, there is variety and flexibility to suit most requirements.

The rooms are classic in style and as such are very adaptable to AV and staging requirements.

Christmas parties

Shared party nights or exclusive parties are available at this truly traditional Christmas venue with real Christmas trees and festive music.

Prom and University Ball packages

These packages mark the end of school and student days and the start of an exciting new journey into college or work.  The Cutlers’ Hall provides a night that will be treasured.

Dinner  packages

Cutlers’ Hall offers the chance to celebrate with all inclusive packages that provide everything necessary for a big night out to remember.

The extensive and beautifully appointed facilities boast a wealth of magnificent rooms and locations whcih provide a stunning setting for your special day.

Licensed to hold Civil Ceremonies, Civil Partnerships and renewal of wedding vows, this venue can take care of everything from your wedding service through to your evening reception.
