The ballrooms were designed by Robert Adam in 1773 which creates an opulent backdrop with elegant surroundings and extraordinary charm. This sumptuous venue lends itself well for a champagne reception on the ground floor ballroom before heading up to the beautiful 1st floor ballroom for dinner. The ballrooms can accommodate up to 200 for a reception or 120 for a seated dinner. The venue is ideally located 2 minutes walk from Oxford Circus tube station.
The ballrooms are flexible enough to accommodate meetings for 10 people with a luxurious lounge area to theatre style presentation for 100 delegates. It is possible to have a boardroom meeting for up to 50 people followed by a cocktail reception with canapés.
We can accommodate dinner parties for 10 up to 120. Guests can sip champagne in the ground floor ballroom before going up to the 1st floor ballroom for dinner. If your group is smaller the ground floor ballroom can be split into two rooms enabling small private dinner parties to enjoy the charm of a large ballroom. If you like the idea of everyone sit around the same table we can do this for up to 50 people in either ballroom.
Perfect for a wedding reception anytime of the year – the Robert Adam plasterwork gives a sensational backdrop for your wedding. Filling the fire places with flowers and lanterns give the ultimate wedding feel! The ground floor ballroom is ideal for a champagne reception, once guests take their seats for the wedding breakfast on the 1st floor the ground floor can be transformed with up lighter, dance floor and DJ for your guests to dance the night away.
