Outside of the museum opening hours over ten galleries are available for hire, each offering their own individual atmosphere and theme - including the Energy Hall, Making of the Modern World, The Exploration of Space, Wellcome Wing and the Flight Gallery. The Making of the Modern World gallery features several icons that formed modern society, including the Apollo 10 command module and Stephenson's Rocket. For daytime events, choose from the elegant Director's Suite, the contemporary Dana Centre and the amazing IMAX Cinema, which boasts a state-of-the-art surround sound system and a projection screen taller than four double-decker buses. If you're really looking to make a lasting impression, this is an ideal venue for conferences or corporate presentations. The Director's Suite is also licenced for civil wedding and partnership ceremonies. The Science Museum provides clients with a flexible pallet for you to create your own individual and unique function.
