Description:
This splendid venue is ideal for Banquets, luncheons and dinners as well as conferences with capacity to hold up to 180 in the Livery Hall. The Court Room also provides a perfect setting for pre-dinner drinks and more intimate dining with capacity to hold up to 60 . Painters' Hall exhibits a fine collection of Royal portraits dating from the late seventeenth century. The focal point of the Hall is the stained-glass windows portraying the arms of figures that have played a prominent part in the company's history and liveryman who have been Lord Mayor of the City. The Painted Chamber is decorated with original painted panels made in the 18th century for the previous hall and can be used for small functions and events. On the walls hang a wide historical collection together with Royal Charters granted to the Company by Elizabeth I, James II, George VI and Elizabeth II.
