A Unique and Royal History - Dating from 1750 Horse Guards is the headquarters and working stables of
the oldest regiment, The Household Cavalry who perform The Queen’s Life Guard in a daily ceremony that
has remained broadly unchanged for over 350 years. The Household Cavalry was formed in the 1660’s
under the direct order of King Charles II and remains to this day consisting of two most senior regiments of
the British Army - The Life Guards and the Blues and Royals.
Corporate and Private Bookings - The Museum is ideally located in the heart of Whitehall in one of
England’s most historic and iconic Grade I listed buildings. Launched as a venue in 2009 The Museum is
one of London’s most exclusive and memorable places to hold an event. The Museum is approached
across the world famous parade ground and has a net available floor space of 400sqm that splits into 3
distinct galleries. Three main rooms house historic displays including kettledrums from 1831 given by King
William IV, items from the Battle of Waterloo, a Fabergé box and modern additions including Sefton’s
bridle.

A variety of related packages are available to enhance an event. The Museum technology features multiple flat screens within the exhibits throughout the three galleries. The screens are available to use in bespoke packages with multiple looping presentations. Beautifully incorporated into the exhibits the technology marries your messages with the history of the Household Cavalry Regiments.
