Description:
Fitzrovia dates back to the 18th century and has been for many years well known for it's writers and artists. From H.G. Wells who first started writing whilts living in the area to Charles Dickens and Virgina Woolf, it's inhabitants have left an indelible mark over the years. It is no different with L. Ron Hubbard who worked from 37 Fitzroy Street through the late 1950s and published many of his best known works whilst in London.
However, Ron Hubbard cannot be simply categorized. Whilst first and foremost a wwriter he worked in a professional capacity in over two dozon fields including photography, horticulture, sea captaining, music making and as an adventurer and explorer quite in addition to his work in the humanitarian fields such as drug rehabilitation, criminal reform and education.
