EVENT SALES EXECUTIVE
BASED AT: 13 Bishopsgate London EC2N 3BA
REPORTS TO: Head of Venue Reservations
WORKING HOURS: Hours of work will be dictated by the requirements of the job role. Usual working pattern will be 08.30 am to 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday with ½ hour lunch break (unpaid) Attendance at weekend and evening events is an integral part of the job.
PURPOSE OF JOB: To achieve targeted levels of sales for Venue Reservations, Crown Group and associated venues.
Responsibilities and relationships
STAFF REPORTING TO JOB: None
OTHER INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS: Group Sales Directors, Managers and Customer Services Executives.
EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS: Corporate Clients, Conference Agents and Venue Clients

This is a great opportunity for a proactive sales person to join a forward thinking team. Being able to close down the business is a must.
You will be highly motivated and a self-starter, with the ability to manage your own workload to ensure the business pipeline remains sufficient to achieve and exceed targets.

VENUE AND EVENT SALES DIRECTOR
An exciting opportunity to promote one of London's Leading Event Spaces, The Royal Courts Justice.

This magnificant event space offers event buyers the most unique dining and reception facility in London today. We are looking for an experienced Venue and Event Sales Director to head up the team at the Courts.

Graduate Programme

We are launching a graduate programme, for one lucky graduate the position will commence in June 2010. It will be a two year sales programme starting salary is £18k rising throughout the two years.

First six month will commence in Venue Reservations our free venue finding service. Venue Reservations deals with nearly all aspects of Crown Group so this will be a great place for them to start they will learn a great deal about both the industry and the group.

The next 6 months they will be a Customer Service Executive for Kudos Hospitality working for a fixed site venue in London. Kudos Hospitality is is the largest trading company within the Crown Group. Kudos provides bespoke quality catering solutions within fixed venues on behalf of our clients. The market sectors in which we work include:

- Sports Stadiums and Grounds

- Conference Centres

- Banqueting Halls

- Exhibition Centres

- Performing Arts Centres

Followed by 6 month Customer Service Executive for Seasoned Events working at either a fixed site. Seasoned Events is the flagship of the award winning Crown Group and one of the UK’s leading independent catering and events companies. Over the last 35 years we have gained a considerable reputation for producing fabulous events and parties.

Finally a 6 month period as a Business Development Executive for another area of Crown Group either London Flying Chef/ Piggotts/ Event Hire. This is a proactive sales role and the candidate will be targeting on how many appointments and revenue they generate.

During the programme the graduate will get extensive knowledge into the company and the industry attending many PR e vents hosted by both Crown Group and also other networking events within the industry. Once the programme is completed the graduate will be able to chose which area they want to specialise in within the company and will be at a managerial level with a salary to reflect.
