Jingle bells. Jingle bells. Jingle bells… STOP!
With the Christmas office party season coming up, it’s time once again to embrace the idea of small talk with the colleagues we would usually only greet with a nod of the head when passing by the canteen! Plus there’s always someone that over-indulges in the Christmas punch, and yet, this is the time when employers can show their appreciation for the last 12 months’ of hard work (actions speak volumes, right?).
It’s high time to think about Christmas and get a move on with planning your party, but don’t panic if you haven’t booked that all-important office holiday party yet. We still have dates left in some of our best Christmas venues in London! Let us talk you through some of our favourites.
Exciting Christmas dinner venue in the heart of London
Take your seat and let the shows begin this year with a Hollywood themed Christmas party in The River Rooms at The Mermaid. A magnificent riverside setting with panoramic views across the River Thames, this will create a Christmas party to remember. Why not make it more personal and choose up-lighting of your company colour to add to the ambience and photographs. Are you still looking for a space for up to 500 guests for Christmas dinner? Let us know as the red carpet awaits.
Central London Christmas venues for smaller office receptions
Tower Bridge seems like an obvious choice to be the first fully booked venue for the whole of December… but fear not … we do still have some dates available! If you’re thinking of holding a smaller Christmas party of up to 50 guests then The North Tower Lounge can offer a more intimate Christmas Party, or alternatively The Walkways can hold up to 250 people for festive bowl food! This year, the Jingle Bell Route’s theming will take you on a tour of all things British; from gin cocktails on arrival to the ‘eye spy’ views of London. Plus not forgetting the dancefloor, because what Brit doesn’t like a good dance after a few gins?! If the date you want is not available then we also have the Engine Rooms, which holds up to 120 guests for a standing reception, and for something a little bit different our Lanterns Cove theme will create a memorable experience for your guests. Conversation will be flowing thanks to the exhibits that stay in place throughout your event.
Christmas party in style – The Great Gatsby inspired lavish banquet at Gibson Hall
New York, New York! We have a fantastic Midnight in Manhattan theme this year at Gibson Hall, and not only do we have some dates left for exclusive venue hire, we are also having a shared Christmas party. So why not dance the night away with 200 other people in high festive spirits? Sipping bourbon cocktails on arrival in the glittering ballroom with sparkling black and silver throughout makes it a perfect party setting. In terms of location, Gibson Hall is absolutely perfect, with the Central line and overground train line less than a ten minute walk away.
A truly winter experience – a night of ice skating and fantastic house wine at one of London’s most iconic locations
DIP-DUNK WHAT?? Although the shared Christmas party at Gibson Hall is perfect for smaller numbers, we do also have The Dip-Dunk Lodge at one of London’s most iconic landmarks; the Tower of London. After skating the night away with your colleagues, you can head to the pop-up snug bar which makes a wonderful setting to enjoy some warm hot chocolate, mince-pies and snow-dusted brownies. We absolutely love the dramatic backdrop for this ice rink, it has to be one of our favourite places at Christmas, soaking up the historic atmosphere combined with the dramatic moonlighting and Christmas carols by night.
