British Science Week is a ten day celebration of all things science, technology, engineering and maths.
To help celebrate British Science Week, I am giving you some event planning, venue finding and food inspiration to help you incorporate science and technology into your next event.
I think sometimes we can take for granted how much science and technology in particular plan a massive factor in our everyday lives. I know I can’t survive without my iPhone and majority of my apps on a day-to-day basis. Whether it be to check my emails, message my boyfriend and friends or keep up-to-date with the celebrity gossip on Instagram or Twitter. Technology for pretty much everyone proves vital to help us with the day-to-day running of our busy lives.
In event planning, choosing the right venue that is going to support your technology requirements or needs, can be a tough search. Whether you need fast internet connection, AV projector and screen, conferencing calling, choosing the perfect venue to help you have a successful, smooth running event can be daunting. So where do you start?
Here at Venue Reservations, we listen to your requirements and discuss this with our venues before shortlisting our options to you. We ask our venues their opinion: what will actually work. We note everything down and relay it back to our clients, hopefully as clear as possible. If you have something really specific in mind, our venues often liaise with their own in-house production and AV suppliers to ensure that you have all the correct information. They are the experts at the end of the day and have worked on countless events, so they know their stuff. The AV and tech teams will often accompany us on site visits so they can fully explain the logistics and set-up to fully ensure your event goes super smoothly. See, you won’t have to worry about a thing!
But…still nervous something is going to go wrong or scared of clicking the wrong button on the day? Don’t worry, you can discuss having a technician on the day of your event to do all the work for you.Back to news
