Venue Gallery: Barber Surgeons' Hall
Description:
Barber Surgeons’ Hall has been the home of the Worshipful Company of Barbers since 1430. The previous halls, this is the third have been destroyed firstly In the Great Fire and then in the Second World War. The building holds a range of magnificent paintings including the famous portrait of Henry VII by Hans Holbein which can be admired which guests have a dinner or reception within the Great Hall. The venue is located away from the noisy areas of the city in the quiet Monkwell Square. The venue has four rooms and also an outside space – the Main Hall flooded with natural daylight and with a door straight out onto the terrace can be used for conferences, dinners or receptions. The Reception Room is predominately used as a pre-dinner reception or conference catering space and then there are two smaller spaces ideal for breakout areas or VIPs.
