Business for the Crown Venue Catering Team at the Harrogate International Centre has been extremely busy for the best part of 2005 to date. Attracting plenty of media attention was the high profile Liberal Democrats Conference back in March. All CVC staff were of course on their best behaviour and acting in a politically correct manner.

Chairman of the HIC board and Leader of Harrogate Borough and Leader of Harrogate Borough Council, Councillor Dr Mike Gardner said, “Harrogate’s ever growing reputation in successfully staging high profile events such as this reflects on the whole team and the commercial partnerships that ensure HIC delivers first class services for the benefit of all.”

The event was also the first to use the Queen’s Suite. The exciting £5m development provides provides one main room seating 600 theatre style or 400 cabaret style.
Some 1500 delegates were catered for at the 3 day event and no one was left hungry!
