Venue Gallery: Foundling Museum
Description:
The new Foundling Museum is a spectacular blend of contemporary and historic spaces accompanied by modern catering facilities, making it an ideal venue for a wide range of functions and events. Fine eighteenth-century interiors and England’s first public art collection lay within the museum creating a distinctive backdrop for exclusive entertaining and events. One of London’s finest surviving Rococo interiors can be found within the Court Room, containing sculptures, paintings and a fine plasterwork ceiling and decorations. The Court Room can be used for formal intimate dinners for up to 30 in the surroundings of a room full of prestigious art. The Picture Gallery can provide space for up to as many as 100 guests for diner and receptions for up to 200. It contains all the major portraits in the Collection and is a fitting setting for conferences, lectures and concerts. As well as the Court Room and Picture Gallery there are less formal, contemporary rooms available for hire which would facilitate seminars and meetings.
